Bbosa wants to build a side worthy of Express FC's history

Jun 06, 2020

Express FC coach Wasswa Bbosa has promised to build a side to rival the likes of KCCA, Vipers, and SC Villa who have dominated the football scene for the last decade.

"We want to bring the team to the level where it will be competing for trophies. Express is a well known traditional club. She is a big brand that does not need to be in relegation dogfights. I promise the fans that we are ready to do anything that will make this club great again," Bbosa said after signing a three-year deal.

"Before I left Express it was performing well and in good positions and I hope and believe that it's where we are going. We are working on so many things to ensure that we revamp Express. This is a big club with a rich history so it should aim for big things''.

Bbosa's contract extension follows his rejuvenate the club that was languishing in the relegation season last season after replacing the sacked George Ssimwogerere.

Meanwhile, Express FC has acquired the signature of midfielder Geoffrey Lwesibawa who returns at Wankulukuku for another stint.

"Lwesibawa is a good player. He is not my brother that I like moving with him but he is someone who adds something to the team. He started at Express but above all, every coach has players who believe in him and vice versa, and the most talented, ambitious, and creative players are on our list and are yet to join us," Bbosa said.

It should be noted that Lwesibawa has been one of those players Bbosa has been moving with right from Express, SC Villa, Tooro United FC now returns for a second stint with the Red Eagles.

Lwesibawa penned a two-year contract deal
