Then and now...

There used to be only one grasshopper (nsenene) season in a year, which was in November. Today, as a result of climatic change, there are two grasshopper seasons, the second one taking place in May. Grasshopper harvesting, processing and marketing has become a lucrative industry, employing thousands of Ugandans and has created a few millionaires.
