Efrain accuses his brother-in-law Julio of embezzling company funds and he is not far from the truth. Julio has been trying to take the company from Efrain. Pablo’s mother returns from abroad and she has a secret that could ruin their family. Is she planning to leave Efrain? Pablo overhears two of the truck drivers talking about stealing from the company. Gabriela tells Irina that she still loves Pablo even if he cheated on her. Father Ensalmo advises Juan Miguel not to give up. Juan Miguel goes to Candeleria’s house, but finds Adrian there. Marichuy has told him about her honeymoon and he is furious. He and Marichuy tell Juan Miguel to leave. Meanwhile, Vivian calls Juan Miguel’s office and learns that he married Marichuy and she laughs hysterically. What is she up to? Estefania finds Israel at the hospital where they have both gone to see Rocio, he tells her that he still loves her and asks her to marry him. Estefania laughs at him, says he is poor and she wants a wealthy man. Rocio is allowed to see her face and she freaks out because she is disfigured. Juan Miguel goes home only to find Candeleria telling Cordelia that he raped Marichuy.
