When Gabriella finds out that Pablo is missing she wants to leave the race, but her grandfather convinces her otherwise. She wins the last race and qualifies for the next level of competition. Pablo is rescued by the police but admitted to hospital as he was shot. He decides that it is time to reveal to Gabriella who he really is. Gabriella has been called to the prison by Veronica’s mother. She tells Gabriella that Pablo never slept with Veronica but that she drugged him and put him in her bed. Gabriella realises that Veronica just wanted to separate them so she goes to the hospital and reconciles with Pablo. Mercedes decides to end the relationship with Adolfo and stay with Efrain. Meanwhile, Hector is driving Adrianna mad because he is not keeping their affair secret. Ernesto realises that he might lose Gabriella now that Pablo is back in her life.

Marichuy becomes an instant celebrity
Marichuy becomes a star with the success of her show. Amador takes her out for dinner to celebrate but Juan Miguel, Estefania, Eduardo and Beatrice are also at the same restaurant. Juan Miguel is furious to see her with Amador. When they stand to dance, Juan Miguel comes to the dance-floor and asks to dance with Marichuy. Amador gives in, while he dances with Estefania. Beatrice is furious with Amador. After telling him that she was pregnant with his child, he denied responsibility. Juan Miguel leaves Estefania and goes with Marichuy. Elsa, who left Eduardo at the altar to marry Nelson, is finding it hard to adjust to being poor. She wants to ask her parents for help, but Nelson won’t allow it. Leticia finds out about Viviana and Gustavo. She collapses and Gustavo tells Viviana to get lost or he will call the police. Viviana leaves hastily.
