Rugby Cranes falter in Bulawayo

THE odds were against the Rugby Cranes having endured a long journey without key players on eve of the match and their fears were confirmed with a humbling 49-21 defeat against Zimbabwe Sables in the Victoria Cup on Saturday.
Uganda is now out of contention for the Cup following the defeat in the city of Bulawayo.
The Cranes had to do without key players including the captain Mathias Ochwo.
The Sables are strong candidates for the trophy. The event also has Kenya.
