THIS is definitely a more serious matter than “beef” and some lawyers already want to jump into the fray. Amarula Family is having a tour to celebrate its 10th anniversary, but ironically, the group has used a picture of Mendo “Museveni” Herbert Ssegujja on its advertising poster instead of that of Paddy Bitama.

So the company that employs Mendo got concerned when the posters were found advertising a show in Kitintale, where Amarula is bound to perform this weekend yet he (Mendo) had been booked to perform in Kigali at the same time.

Mendo denied any knowledge of it and was prompted to seek an official explanation from Amarula Family. Amooti explained thus: “It was the poster designer who made the mistake.

He put your picture instead of Bitama’s because both of you mimic Museveni. ” Word reaching us now is that Amarula Family has been asked to withdraw the posters and also explain the mess-up on the show.
