THE Government has been asked to resolve a boundary dispute between the people of Teso and Karamoja.
There has been a long standing feud between Teso and Karamoja over the ownership of a piece of land located along the border among the two regions.
This follows the resettlement of over 1,000 Karimojongs in Oeselem, Amuturunyo and Okulonyo causing tension among the people of Katakwi.
Katakwi district NRM secretary general, Walter Elakas Okiring says that most people fear that the Karimojongs have intentions of grabbing their land.
Elakas calls on Government to treat this matter with the urgency it deserves to avoid a possible conflict.
