VISION Group has made changes in the publication dates of its magazines. The move is aimed at ensuring that advertisers maximise value for money.

Vision Group’s magazines include City Beat, Bride & Groom, Flair and Premiership
Susan Nsibirwa, the head of marketing, disclosed that City Beat, an entertainment magazine which targets an urban audience between the ages of 19 and 34 and has been published once every month, will be published once every two months.

Flair, that targets the working woman covering all aspects of professional life and has been coming out every month, will now be published on quarterly basis.

Premiership will be published at the beginning of the English Premiership season and at the end. Bride & Groom’s quarterly publication remains unchanged.

“We have realised that magazines sell more copies if they have a longer shelf-life. This, therefore, allows advertisers to get maximum value,” Nsibirwa said.

She added that the longer lead time between issues would also help the editorial team to improve and provide more content.

“We hope our readers will appreciate the changes when they see the improvements with each issue. We shall continue to offer value for money for our readers and advertisers,” Nsibirwa said.
