URA tactician Alex Isabirye is sweating over the international transfer certificates of Vincent Kayizzi, Henry Kisekka, Musa Doka and Peter Ssenyonjo.
Isabirye wants the quartet available for selection before the champions crunch fixture against KCC next week. However, URA is yet to get a response from FUFA over the ITCs of Kayizzi, formerly with FK Srem of Serbia, Kisekka (Vietnam), Doka (Police Rwanda) and Ssenyonjo (Azam Tanzania).
“The ITC issue has affected my plans because I signed these players to strengthen my team but now it is as if I don’t have them. I don’t know whether FUFA is working on the issue now that their bickering with USL is over,†said Isabirye.
Meanwhile, the league continues tomorrow with six games on card with the highlight being the KCC FC game against UTODA to be telecast live on SS9.
KCC coach Matia Lule is confident his team will start with gusto despite the financial crisis that nearly wrecked the club’s preseason preparation.
Record 16-time league champions Villa, who were among the busy clubs in the transfer market, play their first game tomorrow away to Masaka LC. Villa’s fixtures were initially put on hold since many of their players were away in Maputo with the national under-23 team for the All Africa Games.
