The future of coaches Matia Lule and Srdjan Zivojnov at Lugogo and Villa Park respectively was made more uncertain with defeats for the two clubs in the Uganda Super League yesterday.

Lule’s side lost their second consecutive game while Zivojnov went a third game without victory, heightening calls for their replacement.

KCC’s defeat was inflicted by an out of sorts URA that delivered where it matters most as the Lugazi side secured its first win of the season.

The tax collectors struggled from a goal down to edge the Lugogo side in a match that was however dominated by the visitors.

Ceaser Mulumba put KCC ahead in the 52nd minute but the hosts equalised through Hamis Kitagenda mid-way the second half. The Lugazi home ground again delivered victory for URA with two minutes left when substitute Henry Kisekka got the winner.

At Wankulukuku victory again eluded 16-time champions Villa as they settled for a 0-0 draw with Proline. Villa fans, protested referee Denis Batte’s decision to disallow Erukana Nkugwa’s goal for offside and threw objects onto the pitch.

Elsewhere, Edgar Luzige put the Red Eagles ahead six minutes from time against Bunamwaya, but the lead was cancelled by substitute Juma Balinya shortly before the final whistle.

In Jinja Bidco registered its first win by beating Fire Masters.
