AN initial mini-survey amongst our younger readers who took part in the Urban TV auditions last week revealed that Zari Hussein, a socialite, businesswoman and budding musician based in South Africa is the hottest woman in Uganda.

She is the woman most young people would want to spend private time with.
They find her sexy, vibrant and very charming. This 31-year-old mother of three flaunts her sexiness and is not shy to declare on her face book wall that she is “sexy”, a word that still makes many Ugandan woman blush or cringe in embarrassment.
Although we never set any limits to “hotness” attractiveness, most voters seemed to go for people they thought were appealing because of being new, interesting, or trendy (which is how some sources define “sexy”.
Zari was shortly followed by Sanyu FM presenter Crystal Newman Kavulu who was recently voted Mrs. Uganda and dancer-turned-singer, Natasha Sinayobe. In her recent interviews, Crystal Newman Kavulu, a married mother of two, was widely quoted as saying that Ugandan women ought to know that it was okay to be married and sexy, arguing that married women had more reason to care about their appearance than their single counterparts.
Our survey also turned up people like trade minister Amelia Kyambadde, former Investment Authority executive director Maggie Kigozi, Juliana Kanyomozi and Kampala Woman MP Nabillah Nagayo Sempala among others.
