Wakiso district leaders have visited Entebbe Grade B Hospital to comprehend situation

Wakiso district leaders have visited Entebbe Grade B Hospital to comprehend situation. This comes after power and water black-out in Entebbe grade B hospital. For the last 5 days, the hospital has been operating without water and electricity, downgrading its services to only certain emergencies.
 
Entebbe Grade B hospital remains open to the public, despite the wanting conditions at the facility. There are no basics at the hospital, but medical personnel try to help, despite the slow activity.
 
Wakiso district leaders led by Chairman Matia Lwanga Bwanika are getting concerned about the situation, asking for immediate intervention of government. They promise to work as leaders against the conditions.

However, they too are not sure of how long they will hang on and do this, considering the increasing costs of operation.
Several patients were seen in the hospital, with hope of getting services but in vain. Most affected is the maternity wing, where emergency cases have been phased out. 
 
Entebbe Grade B hospital is government funded with a capacity of over two hundred patients daily.
Wakiso district has 19 Government dispensaries (II), 12 health centres (III), 5 health centres (IV) and 2 hospitals. Private/NGO-20 dispensaries, 58 clinics and 15 health centres and 2 hospitals. Kisubi Hospital, Entebbe Grade A Hospital with 12 beds, Entebbe Grade B with 149 beds, and there a private hospital- Mildmay Hospital.
