TOGOLESE president Faure Gnasssingbe currently in the country on an official visit, toured the Jesa Dairy Farm in Waskiso district and the Kawanda research station.
Faure who was accompanied by a delegation of five minister from Togo arrived at Jesa at about 5:00pm and was taken around the facility by the managing director James Mulwana.
Faure is in the country on a four day learning visit. He was met by Uganda Agriculture ministers Tress Buchanayandi and his deputy Bright Rwamirama. He was accompanied by a delegation comprising five cabinet ministers from Togo.
In brief speech at Kawanda Faure hailed president Yoweri Museveni for his vision in developing the country and announced that a decision had been reached in an earlier meeting in the morning between the two delegations to form a joint team to enhance agricultural production and food security.
