THE embattled Agago LC5 chairman Peter Odok Wod Oceng is to appear before the anti-corruption court in Kampala on Wednesday, following his arrest and detention at the Central Police Station in Kampala yesterday.
Odok was arrested by the office of the Inspector General of Government, which accuses him of causing financial loss to the government, utterance o false statements and abuse of office.
The IGG spokesperson Ali Munira did not give details but said Odok will be paraded before the anti-corruption court this morning.
A source close to the IGG however said Odok is accused of inflating garage bills amounting to over sh400m, while still chairman for Pader district.
Odok was in August expelled from the Agago seat after a petition over his age.
Meanwhile, the official vehicle of Odok, which he had clung to despite being asked to leave office, has been handed over to the CAO of Agago.
