THE national soccer team-The Cranes- is not planning any local training ahead of the LG Four Nations invitation Cup due in Morocco next month.

Uganda has confirmed entry in the competition due November 11-13, but FUFA technical director Asumani Lubowa says that chances for the team training together in Kampala are minimal.

“We are having about seven local players on the team. There will be no use of having a camp for this number of players. We are looking at an option of being in Morocco maybe two days before tournament to do some training and get the coordination but the meeting with the coach will decide on this,” said Lubowa when asked when the team is going to train.

The three-day tournament will witness four countries, including Cameroon, Sudan, Uganda and Morocco face off with the winner walking off with a cash prize of $100,000 (sh280m).

Only Simeon Masaba, Henry Kalungi, Godfrey Walusimbi, Mike Mutyaba, Dennis Guma, Vincent Kayizi and Alex Kakuba are the locally based players summoned on the national team.

The Squad: Abel Dhaira, Dennis Onyango, Isaac Isinde, Hassan Wasswa, Tony Mawejje, Musa Mudde, Moses Oloya, Mike Sserumaga, Godfrey Walusimbi, Andy Mwesigwa, Brian Umony, Geoffrey Massa, Patrick Ochan, Hamisi Kiiza and Emma Okwi.
