Irish potatoes supply drops

In Kibuye, Owino and Nakasero markets a kilogram of Irish potatoes which was previously selling at sh1,000 increased to sh1,500.

In Kibuye, Owino and Nakasero markets a kilogram of Irish potatoes which was previously selling at sh1,000 increased to sh1,500. The big-sized endebe (tin) of Irish potatoes increased from sh15,000 to sh18,000. The traders attribute the rise in prices to low supply from Kabale and Kenya.
 
Bananas
A cluster of Bogoya increased from sh5,000 to sh6,000 in Nakasero market. In Owino Market, a medium-sized cluster which previously was selling at sh4,000 went up to sh5,000. In Kibuye and Kalerwe markets a small-sized cluster went up from sh3,500 to sh2,500. In Nakawa, Kalerwe, Kibuye and Owino markets, the big-sized cluster went up from sh3,500 to sh2,500. A medium-sized cluster went up from sh2,000 to sh2,500.
 
Beet Root
The price of beetroot went up from sh2,500 to sh4,500 in Nakasero, Kibuye, and Owino markets. 
The traders attributed the high prices to low supply because the harvest season has ended.
