HIS whereabouts might be unknown but national football governing body FUFA is not about to relent on its efforts to have striker Savio Nsereko play for Uganda Cranes.

The soccer governing body which believes Nsereko could be the solution to it’s striking problems, will soon prove to the world football governing body FIFA that the player was a Ugandan before he featured for the German U-19 team.

The Ugandan federation has continued to press FIFA to allow Nsereko play for Uganda but and on their latest effort the global soccer body has asked Uganda to prove thier claims.

Nsereko, who made his U-19 debut for Germany in September 2007, featured for the team in the 2008 UEFA European U-19 football championships in Czech Republic.

Nsereko however went missing from his club in Italy last month and his mother and sister have sought intervention of international Police to locate him.
