Nkumba University lecturers’ strike has entered a second week affecting students’ lectures.
The lecturers last week went on strike demanding for a pay-rise among other grievances they want addressed.
Source at the University have told the New Vision that the administration has agreed to give a 25% salary increments to lecturers.
Nkumba is a private University in Entebbe, Wakiso district. It was established in 1994 as part of a group of schools and colleges which originally grew from a kindergarten set up in 1951.
