Bugonga residents count losses as Lake Victoria water levels rise

The residents of Bugonga landing site in Wakiso district have been left homeless as Lake Victoria waters extended and invaded their houses.

The incident that happened Saturday morning led to loss of property, including household items, and boats which were destroyed.

The residents have asked the government to come to their rescue because they have nowhere to go and nothing to eat.
