COVID-19: It's time to be one - Kaziimba

Kaziimba lauded the togetherness so far exhibited in the fight against Coronavirus.

KAMPALA - "This is the time to be one to defeat COVID-19," the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, has said

Kaziimba who lauded the togetherness so far exhibited in the fight against Coronavirus emphasized; "Whatever is going on in the world today, should remind us of God's initial love."

Kaziimba made the remarks while delivering a televised Sunday sermon from his residence at Namirembe in Kampala.

"When you look at the current situation, men and women it is the time to think about our initial love with God.

I want to inform you; this disease maybe God's plan to humble us to the first love. It is humbling the people to trust in God," he said.

"This is not the time for politics," Kaziimba remarked as he commended the unity so far exhibited by politicians in the fight against the pandemic.

"It is really good. Even the opposition politicians are now listening to the President as he leads the fight against COVID-19," he said.
