Nigerian singer Fireboy DML is coming to Kampala

The 24 year old YBNL Nation singer was born on February 5, 1996 and started his professional music career in 2012.

Nigerian singer Fireboy DML, real names Adedamola Adefolahan has taken to Twitter to confirm that he will be coming to Kampala very soon. The 24 year old YBNL Nation singer was born on February 5, 1996 and started his professional music career in 2012. 

 

 
However prior to that, Fireboy DML who grew up in Abeokuta, a state capital in Ogun State had been a member of his local church choir before landing his breakthrough single "Jealous" which first appeared on YBNL Nation's collaborative album YBNL Mafia Family (2018). The single would later get re-released on March 25, 2019. 
 
 
 
The singer's  first album titled 'Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps' was released on November 29, 2019 highlighting social and love issues. The 13-track album comprised of songs like Jealous, What If I Say and King. Some of his sensational songs that have garnered significant airplay in Kampala include Jealous and What If I Say. 
 
It is most likely that his Ugandan concert will be organized by Shograph Concepts, an experiential marketing company and the properietors of the Shorts Na Lessu event. It is also likely that the sensational Nigerian singer will feature in the event's Audition. Shorts Na Lessu is an outdoor event that fuses African culture with an urban and modern blend. 
 
Details regarding the exact date and location are yet to be revealed by the organizers.
