It is not the first time that Express find themselves in such a situation.
In 2018 Express clawed their way to a final game win to survive relation.
Club chairman Kiryowa Kiwanuka started off the week by sacking coach George Ssimwogerere. He was replaced by yet another of the club's former tacticians Wasswa Bbossa.
Bbossa, who not only played for Express but also coached them in 2014, says he is well aware of the huge task but has promised to deliver.
"All I need is win four of the remaining matches and we shall be safe." Recent statistics show that 33 points are the lifeline in this league.
