Ugandans remember Daniel Moi

Ugandans have joined the rest of the East African community to remember the fallen leader.

Kenya's second President Daniel arap Moi died Tuesday morning in a Nairobi Hospital. Moi was 95-years-old. 

In his presidential proclamation, Kenyatta described Moi as a Great African Statesman. Ugandans have also joined the rest of the East African community to remember the fallen leader.

Shifah Yunus Rais Moi was great indeed. Whenever my father was going to Kenya he couldn't say that he was going to Kenya but instead he would say that "Am going to Moi". As if he had dealings with Moi himself. RIP Mzei wakazi. Great loss to East Africa and Africa as a whole.
