Innocent Nahabwe returned 38 stable ford points to win the inaugural CEO Golf Tournament at the Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa on Friday.

Playing off handicap 24, the Uganda Golf Club member and Galaxy FM CEO beat over a hundred players to write his name in the record books of Serena.

"I have won this accidentally because I want originally meant to play but I was invited late on and this makes me very happy," Nahabwe said.

"I started badly and ‘scratched a few holes because I missed working with my caddie but I stayed calm and stabilized later.

"Serena is a challenging course but luckily I didn't shower today. I went with two boxes of balls hoping maybe to return with none but luckily I used one ball throughout and probably that explains the win,"

"This is a different type of competition because you are not competing with season golfers but one that offers an opportunity for us to meet and engage; this allows for ‘cross-pollination' which is important for business, "Nahabwe stated.

Patrick Mugisha, John Muchiri, and Joseph Adrapi topped the men's groups A-C while Wendy Angudeyo and Maxi Byenkya were the best in the ladies' category.
