5:30pm | Hosts living dangerously
(Uganda 1 Tanzania 1)
There's not much time left for the Ugandan girls. They are facing an early exit in this tournament.
A goal in their favour in these remaining minutes will change the mood here at Lugogo.

5:25pm | Uganda chasing another goal
(Uganda 1 Tanzania 1)
It's all guns out as Uganda chase a second goal.
Fauzia Najjemba is trying hard to beat her minders, but defender Protasia Pius Mbunda is not letting her run the show.

5:20pm | GOAL! Back on level terms
(Uganda 1 Tanzania 1)
It has turned into a seesawing affair.
The visitors have equalised through Diana Msewa. It means Uganda must score at least another goal to stand any chance.
Home nerves.

5:10pm | GOAL! What the hosts [badly] needed
(Uganda 1 Tanzania 0)
You could say it was long coming!
Phiona Nabbumba (48') has given the hosts the vital lead. As it stands, Uganda will be through to the next stage - if it remains like this.
It is now 2-2 aggregate.

4:47pm | HALF TIME: Still goalless
(Uganda 0 Tanzania 0)
And there goes the opening 45 minutes of this evening's game. No goals yet.
The hosts have huffed and puffed, but their attacking force has failed to break Tanzanian goalkeeper Asha Mrisho.
The visitors will be the happier side going into the break.

4:40pm | OUCH! Najjemba goes down
(Uganda 0 Tanzania 0)
A little earlier there, Uganda's Fauzia Najjemba tried to make a run for it as the hosts huffed and puffed.
But she had to gallop past her Tanzanian minder, Irene Elias Kisisa.
But the Tanzanian midfielder couldn't let her be, perhaps going with the philosopher that if you miss the ball, do not miss the leg.
She miss the ball alright, but she did not miss Najjemba's leg, who went down under the heavy challenge.
And the Ugandan forward went tumbling on the artificial turf of the StarTimes Stadium, needing medical attention immediately after.
The pause also gave the players a chance to replenish their tanks.

4:35pm | No way through for the hosts

3:45pm | East African derby
The 10th edition of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup has 14 slots up for grabs for the finals, due in August. The tournament will be hosted by Costa Rica and Panama, the first ever co-hosting of a FIFA youth tournament. It will also be the second ever co-hosting of a FIFA tournament after the 2002 FIFA World Cup (South Korea and Japan).
Costa Rica and Panama have automatically qualified as hosts, so it is up to the confederations spread out across the globe to find the remaining 14 teams needed to participate in the finals.
Africa (CAF) has two slots. Uganda is among the 29 teams vying for these two places, four of which have moved on to the first round. They are Gabon, Cameroon, Nigeria and Ghana.
The rest, including Uganda, are playing their return legs of the preliminary round to determine who joins the four mentioned teams. In the first leg, Tanzania beat Uganda 2-1. Today, Uganda is hosting the return leg at the StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo in Kampala.
In this two-legged affair, in case the aggregate score is tied after regular time, the away goals rule is applied. And if it still tied, a penalty shootout (no extra time) will be the ultimate decider.
