Newly-appointed ministers will interact with the Parliament's appointments committee tomorrow

KAMPALA - The newly-appointed ministers will face the Parliament's appointment committee tomorrow, Friday, January 3.
A letter dated December 30, 2019, addressed to the members of the Appointments Committee by the Clerk to Parliament, Jane Kibirige, says the vetting will start at exactly 10:00AM.
First to be vetted will be Raphael Magyezi, who was appointed local government minister, followed by Judith Nabakooba, the in-coming information minister.
Others to be vetted include Molly Kamukama (state minister for economic monitoring), Hamson Obua (state for sports), Robinah Nabbanja (state for health), Jackson Kafuzi (deputy attorney general), Beatrice Anywar (state minister for environment), Peter Ogwang (state minister for ICT) and Helen Adoa (state minister for fisheries).
