Goals galore as Watoto Wasoka Christmas Cup starts

Ramathan Tabaru hit the right note as Big Talent soccer academy started their Watoto Wasoka Christmas Camp campaign with a massive win.

Tabaru scored four times as they defeated ITA Football Academy 11-0 in one of the games in the Under-15 category as the week-long competition got underway at Ganyana Junior School, Jezza on Sunday.

Big Talent soccer academy that is owned by renowned musician star Eddy Kenzo saw Farouk Tumwesigye and Joram Lubega add a brace before Edris Husama, Joachim Mugerwa and Pius Kiseka scored the other goals for Big Talent.

In the U-9 category, Big Talent played to a goalless draw with Kyle before they went on to defeat Kampala Galaxy 2-0 in the same age category through Benjamin Nsinda's brace.  They also registered a 4-0 win over Soul Winners in the U-11 category.

The 8^th edition of the annual Watoto Wasoka competition will run until Saturday.

Over 2500 participants in the categories of U-9s, U-11s, U-13s, and U-15s from 86 boys' teams are camped at Ganyana JS to expose their talent.

The competition will also have an open category for girls with their matches starting on Thursday.
