GOLF
Kenyan junior golfers have in the last three encounters lost to their Ugandan counterparts as they compete for the Lake Victoria Serena Classic-Bob Baldassari Cup that involves three days of competition.
But it was different this time as the Kenyan children not only came in numbers but dominated on the course winning seven of the eight categories to claim the bragging rights over the Ugandans, in the cba bank-sponsored tournament.
Apart from Banza Matsiko who won the 8-9 years boys' category, the other Ugandans were outnumbered and beaten to the top positions in the other categories.
But none the less, all children enjoyed the action at the picturesque course and learned new skills over the three days of action that involved 54, 36, 18 and 9-hole competitions for the different age categories.
