The big winners were Fiduga, a horticulture farm that took the overall title as the best of the inaugural 2019 season.

Corporates came together to celebrate a successful corporate games season in a glitzy awards ceremony that took place at the Royal Suites Hotel Bugolobi.

The big winners were Fiduga, a horticulture farm that took the overall title as the best of the inaugural 2019 season. They dominated almost all disciplines notably winning the football and netball title.

SDC Darling and Royal Van Zanten finished second and third respectively to wrap up the top three positions.

Corporate Games Chairman Ian Rumanyika declared the season successful and has already laid out plans for the 2020 season.

"We have had a very successful season in the first season to have over nine sponsors. Everyone has been able to support the corporate games so we are grateful we have been able to reward those that have been excellent at it," Rumanyika said.

He added, "The next season will start in February next year with a corporate-run at Namboole."  He hopes that the games continue to provide an opportunity for companies and their employees to get fit but also do some team building in the process.
