PLANT, DESIGN, SUPPLY, AND INSTALLATION OF WORKS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE 33KV MEDIUM VOLTAGE POWER LINES
- The Government of Uganda (GoU) has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank towards the cost of Uganda Energy for Rural Transformation Phase III (ERT III), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments under the contract for design, supply and installation of 11kv/33kv lines and associated low voltage networks for grid intensification under ERT III (206 schemes) for 10 STS –organized into three(3) Lots: Lot 1: Batch 2 3STS (north-north western, northern, and West Nile). Lot 2: Batch 3 3STS (northeastern, eastern and central north) and Lot 3: Batch 4 4STS (southern, southwestern, northwestern, and mid-western). “Bidders may bid for one or several lots, as further defined in the bidding document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.”
- The Rural Electrification Agency (REA) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders that meet the Evaluation and Qualification criteria in section III, Vol 1 of the Document, for design, supply and installation of 11kv/33kv lines and associated low voltage networks for grid intensification under ERT III (206 schemes) for 10 STS as described in the Lots above. The Time for Completion of the whole of the Facilities shall be 20 calendar months from the Effective Date as described in the Contract Agreement.
