Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi (UMU) has held its 25th graduation ceremony at the main campus at Nkozi, in Mpigi District.

The function on Friday was presided over by the university's Chancellor, the Rt. Rev. Prof. Joseph Antony Zziwa, who is also the Chairman of the Uganda Episcopal Conference. He was assisted by the Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Prof. John Chrysostom Maviiri.

The function was also graced by the Apostolic Nuncio to Uganda, His Excellency Archbishop Luigi Bianco, who was the Guest of Honour. During the function, a total of 2327 students graduated with Bachelor's, Master's Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates in courses such as Business Administration, Education, Development Studies, the Built Environment, Information Systems, Counseling among others.
