Kenzo not invited to Rema's introduction

The organizing committee for sensational singer Rema Namakula and her new lover Hamza Ssebunya's introduction ceremony have said Edirisa Musuuza alias Kenzo is not welcome for Rema's introduction.

Rema will introduce Dr. Hamza on November 14, 2019, in Nabbingo Wakiso district.



In an interview with New Vision sister paper Bukedde, the chairperson organizing committee Issa Musoke said the committee has given out introduction ceremony cards and Kenzo's name was not on the list of guests that were invited.

 ‘'All our guests have already received their cards and there is no way we can add Kenzo to the list that is already fully sorted,'' Musoke said.



The news come in after Kenzo expressed inest in being a guest at his ex-lover's ceremony during a press conference on Thursday at Mestil Hotel in Kampala

 "I am willing to put on my Kanzu and attend Rema Namakula and Hamuza Ssebunya's introduction ceremony if invited with good intentions," he said. 


He also emphasized that no one knows Rema like he does saying that he has spent five years with her eating and sleeping with her in the same house.

Kenzo assured his fans that he is single, broken-hearted and confused, but not searching because he still has anger over the breakup.

Kenzo demands access for his daughter

During the Thursday press conference, Kenzo expressed concern over lack of access to his five-year-old daughter, Amaal Musuuza.




 
"My family is my family. I am fighting to get access to my child to see that she bonds with me. However, this is difficult because I have no access to her new man's home where she stays," he said.

Rema‘s manager called upon Kenzo to stop complaining about accessing his daughter adding that he should follow the laws if he wants to see her.

Brief background

On August 31, 2019, social media was awash with news that the sensational singer Rema Namakula is moving on from Singer Eddy Kenzo to legalise her relationship with Hamza Ssebunya.

Many could not believe the news until pictures of Rema and Hamuza of their secret Nikkah leaked.



A number of their fans actually called it a prank to promote their music, but on October 9, 2019, Uganda's Independence Day, Rema Namakula confirmed it when Hamuza visited her aunt's home in Naguru Kampala.
