Rasta Rob rocked the motorsport fraternity in the 1990s in a Mitsubishi Mirage.
Rasta Rob, real names Robert Ogwal, debuted on Radio Sanyu in 1993 where he stayed until 1996. He then crossed to CBS where he worked until 1999.
He then went to the UK where he stayed until 2008. Meanwhile he was an accomplished DJ and rally driver.
Rasta Rob rocked the motorsport fraternity in the 1990s in a Mitsubishi Mirage. Before joining radio, he worked with SM mobile disco as an MC and Ange Nior Discotheque between 1992 and 1993.
While in London Rasta Rob did stints as a DJ in London's Pier One night-club. He was also an artiste and has a few songs to his name.
He returned to Uganda in 2008 and got a presenter's job at Super FM.
In August 2019, Rasta Rob was one of the hundreds of entrepreneurs who performed well and got certificates that give them an edge to join the oil and gas industry.
He went through a 10 months rigorous training Business Incubator programme organised by Stanbic Bank. He runs Tuku Afrika Ltd, a pan African sport tourism Diplomacy Company that connects and unites Africans through sport and travel.
