A delegation of 18 players and nine officials of KCCA Football Club have this evening departed for Algeria ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round return leg on Sunday against Paradou AC away in Algiers Stade du 5 Juillet  1962.

The delegation headed by Richard Ochom has traveled aboard Fly Emirates flight and will make a stopover in Dubai where they will spend the night before proceeding to Algeria on Friday.

It Should be recalled that in the first leg played on Sunday at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo, the home of KCCA FC, the two teams settled for a goalless draw despite all the efforts invested by both sides to scores goals.

Speaking at a press conference before they traveled. Coach Mike Mutebi revealed to journalists that he has instructed his charges to be more offensive in front of the goal, that is by attacking the opponents as early as possible to grab that away goal which he believes will be vital if they are to qualify.

"I have instructed them to attack, we are not going to defend, we are going to attack them and am confident we shall score that important away goal," Mutebi vowed.

The tactician also added that just like the similar situation they found themselves in while playing in the first leg of not wanting to concede an away goal. He believes the opponents (Paradou AC) will be subjected to the same which themselves will capitalize on and score a goal.

"Like what we were afraid of not conceding an away goal here at home, the same will be in their minds on Sunday. We shall capitalize on that by attacking them, am sure we shall get a breakthrough and score goals," Mutebi said.

KCCA FC needs any draw involving goals or winning the match to be able to qualify for the  CAF Confederation Cup group stages.
