Kabalaza edge Katogo in Entebbe Club match play competition

It is the fourth year in a row that Kabalaza takes the bragging rights and celebrations over their opponents Katogo who put a better show compared to last year.

 
Team Kabalaza edged Team Katogo 24-22 points as they continued their dominance over their opponents in the Entebbe Club members' match play championship played at Entebbe Club on Saturday.
 
It is the fourth year in a row that Kabalaza takes the bragging rights and celebrations over their opponents Katogo who put a better show compared to last year. 
 
Katogo stole their own show when they temporarily hid the winners' trophy before the prize ceremony but one Kabalaza member had sported the 'thief' who had performed the mischievous act.
 
Celebrations were in order for Kabalaza on the 19th hole as they celebrated their third win, in the annual championship that started in 2015.
 
Kabalaza is made up of members of the club who patronise the balcony and the restaurant at the club while Katogo was formed by members who enjoy most the traditional breakfast-dish at the club.

What was initiated as a leisurely club challenge between the various social groups at the club has grown in stature over the years with members from both Entebbe Club and Uganda Golf Club who subscribe to both clubs increasing the numbers in this thrilling competition which helps them improve their game.
