TRIBUTE
KAMPALA - Hundreds of Christians, relatives, and friends today (Tuesday) gathered at Martyrs Anglican Church, Nateete, in Kampala to bid farewell to Apollo Muwanga Kitandwe, a former employee of Vision Group, who died from heart-related complications on Sunday (October 20) at the age of 65.
The funeral service was presided over by the Rev William Ssekitooleko (from Masajja Church of Uganda), who represented the Archdeacon of Nateete, Venerable Godfrey Buwembo. Anglican clerics such as Rev. Abraham Lubega Kisaakye, Rev Moses Kayemba, Rev. Paul Nsubuga, and Rev. Samuel Katabula, also graced the function.

Among those who eulogised Kitandwe was David Nkaada, his long-time friend and former workmate at Vision Group, who spoke highly of his friendly disposition and commitment to work.
In a message delivered for her by Dorah Kiggundu, Ritah Kitandwe, the widow, thanked the relatives, friends, the Christians of Nateete Martyrs Church and all people of goodwill for their friendship, love, and support.

Ashe Kitandwe, the deceased's son, thanked Robert Kabushenga, the CEO of Vision Group for not only employing Kitandwe but also loving him. He also thanked the family of Vision Group for their love and solidarity towards the family.
Subsequent to the funeral service at Nateete, Muwanga's body was buried at Nabbingo, in Wakiso district.
