Has Muzaata apologised to Kenzo?

Edirisa Musuza alias Eddy Kenzo whose separation from his longtime girlfriend Rema Namakula caused a social media uproar after Sheikh Nuhu Muzata attacked him in stinging comments has appealed for calm.

In his social media posts on his official accounts, Kenzo asked his supporters to forgive where they think he had erred and indicated that he had spent many days without sleeping especially after last Saturday's events when his former girlfriend had a kukyaala ceremony with another man.

Kenzo indicated that Sheikh Muzaata was willing to talk and urged his irate supporters to a ceasefire.

"My people, thank you for fighting for me. Sheikh is ready to talk so let us calm down," Kenzo posted.

He assured his supporters he would be travelling from the US and would be at the Entebbe International Airport on Tuesday next week.

Sources close to the two told New Vision that Muzaata had personally reached out to Kenzo and that the two had spoken and ironed out issues between them.

1. March 2018, Muzaata slapped a teacher at Bilal school in Kawempe for allegedly caning his child. Pupils protested the behaviour of Muzaata

2. November 2017, he attacked Buganda Land Board on registration of people on the Kabaka's land.

3. In July 2017, he attacked Mariach for allegedly despising Islam in his presentations. Mariachi went to Kibuli and apologized to Muzaata

4. Jan 2016, Muzaata attacked the head of Boda Boda 2010 Abdallah Kitatta accusing him of being a crook. Kitatta responded in equal measure

5. November 2016, Muzaata attacked Gen. Kale Kayihura, the former Inspector General of Police, for involvement in the affairs of Muslims and disturbing them. He warned him that he will answer for the sins he had committed against Muslims once he had left the IGP job.

6. June 2016, artiste Bobi Wine (Robert Kyagulanyi) gave Muzaata 14 days to apologise to Mengo for what he had said about the Etofaali drive which had been led by Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga.

7. May 2015, Sheikh Muzaata attacked the Katikkiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga saying the drive to collect etoffali was not helping Buganda.

8. March 2015, Kawempe mayor Mubarak Munyagwa attacked Muzaata and asked Mayiga to allow him a response to Muzaata whenever he (Muzaata) attacks Mengo administration. He accused him of turning Islam into his business.

9. August 5, 2017, Muzaata attacked Mariach for using his shows to despise Islam and asked Muslims to beat him up.

10. 2006, recordings of Muzaata attacking Sheikh Shaban Mubajje were selling like hotcakes in Kampala. Muzaata accused Mubajje of selling Muslim property, urging Muslims not to allow Mubajje to lead them into prayers.
