LUWERO - Classes have resumed at Bukalasa Agricultural College in Luwero district after a four-day strike.

Gelvan Kisolo Lule said classes have resumed after the meeting between the students' leadership and management.

On Tuesday last week, the students marched on the streets of Wobulenzi town protesting what they called poor living conditions at the college.

They complained about poor sanitation, poor feeding, dilapidated classrooms, and dormitories.

The student's guild president Ernest Ayen said they called off the strike hoping the school administration will fulfill their promises.

"We have come to an agreement with the college management and they have promised to work with us and the ministry to address all these issues," he said.
