CECAFA U-15: Uganda thrashes Burundi to reach final

Uganda stormed the final of the CECAFA U-15 Challenge Cup after thrashing Burundi 6-0 in Wednesday's semi-final at Asmara International Stadium in Eritrea.

Travis Mutyaba struck a brace to take his goal tally to five for the tournament. Davis Ogwal, Vincent Mulema, Abassi Kyeyune and Godfrey Ssekibengo all chipped in with a goal each to set Uganda on its way to victory.

The youngsters will now take on Kenya who eliminated Rwanda 4-2 on penalties after regular time ended in a 1-1 draw.                                 

Uganda has so far scored 19 goals in the competition and go into Friday's final as firm favourites to lift the trophy.
