Notice from Ministry of Water

The Government of Uganda (GoU) has received fi nancing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Integrated Water Management and Development Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services Consultancy Services for Feasibility Study, Detailed Engineering Design and Construction Supervision of Solar Powered Piped Water Supply Systems and Sanitation Facilities in Refugee Settlements and Host Districts in West Nile and Northern Uganda in Kiryandongo district.

The consulting services ("the Services") include: (i)Establish the existing water supply and sanitation situation in the proposed project areas, (ii)To develop engineering designs for solar piped water systems to increase safe water access in the proposed project areas, (iii)To propose hygiene and sanitation improvements in the proposed project areas, (iv)To develop engineering designs for sanitation facilities Kiryandongo town, (v)To prepare an Environmental and Social impacts Assessment report, and propose Source Protection Measures, (vi)Prepare the bidding documents using the latest version of World Bank Standard Procurement document for major works, and (vii) Provision of consulting services for supervision of construction works for solar powered piped water supply systems and sanitation facilities CLICK HERE FOR MORE ON THIS NOTICE
