Friday: KCCA v Onduparaka (Semi-final)

Tooro United assistant coach Eric Ndifuna has promised a better display from his side when they take on newly-promoted Wakiso Giants in a classification tie of the Pilsner Super 8 on Tuesday at Wakissha Resource Centre in Wakiso district.

The Fort Portal based side that was eliminated from the tournament by Onduparaka 4-3 on penalties after goalless in the first round, will now be battling with Wakiso for positions.

"We shall put up better performance compared to that against Onduparaka. We are not worried about facing Wakiso since we have what it takes to bring them down," stated Ndifuna at a pre-match press conference at Kati Kati Restaurant in Lugogo.

The Super 8 is a competition that comprises of top six teams in the topflight last season and two teams that were promoted directly to the top-tier from FUFA Big League. These are KCCA, Vipers, URA, Tooro United, Mbarara City, Onduparaka, Proline and Wakiso Giants.

Wakiso who were beaten by KCCA FC 2-0 last week have also expressed confidence ahead of the match.

"We have rectified our mistakes and I believe we are good to go. Football is played 90 minutes I have a feeling we shall be the winners," noted Wakiso Giants assistant coach James Odoch.
