Sky ready to take back the reigns

This year’s KAVC international will give the team a chance to show how much their new players have grown during this complex process of change.

Sky Volleyball Club aims to use the KAVC international to go back to the glory days.

"Our aim this year is to get back in the finals and build back our team confidence and motivation. We want to go back to the days when we were among the top three contenders in the region which I believe we can achieve this year," Sky Coach Isaac Omedo said.

They have struggled quite a bit in the last few years with many of their most senior players moving away from the team. This year's KAVC international will give the team a chance to show how much their new players have grown during this complex process of change.

"Currently, we are underdogs but we want to use that as motivation because we know we can beat anyone," Omedo said.

They too have strengthened by inviting some good players like Emma Kato and Ronald Katosi back into the circle and with the acquisition of former Ndejje Sharks setter Ronald Gumisiriza
