Increasing business access to capital
Access to market based financing is recognized as one of the major constraints for business growth in Uganda. Market based financing is patient capital raised through the issue of debt and/or equity securities to domestic and international savings, privately or publicly. A business that adheres to good corporate governance practices greatly enhances its chances of attracting long-term patient capital to finance its business growth.
