The feat earned him a 40-inch flat screen from the sponsors of the annual event, Tororo Cement.
Mehta Golf Club's Godfrey Nsubuga carded 142 gross over 72 holes to win the Tororo Cement Golf Open at Tororo Golf Club on Saturday.
Fresh from winning the Africa Region IV Golf Tournament with the national team at the par-71 Bujumbura Golf course, Godfrey Nsubuga was still in fine form to win the tournament at his second time of asking.
"I first and last played in Tororo in 2017 but I'm currently enjoying good form since we returned from Bujumbura," Nsubuga said.
"I played alongside Kenyan pro-Dismas Indiza who was a guest player and I enjoyed myself. After my second round, I realized I was far ahead," Nsubuga who is in camp with the national team preparing for the Victoria Cup against Kenya next month, stated.
The feat earned him a 40-inch flat screen from the sponsors of the annual event, Tororo Cement.
Kenneth Mangeni finished second, eight strokes away while Nickson Ambomvi was a stroke further in third.
