City Tyres/Pirelli Formula One promotion back​

Attended by hundreds of their clients and business associates, the launch was graced by a number of dignitaries from Pirelli led by East Africa Area Manager Giovanni Tolasi.

 
Another eight Ugandans will have the experience of watching a live Formula One race at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi in December following the launch of the City Tyres and Pirelli Formula One promotion held at the Mandela Auto Zone, Industrial Area on Tuesday.
 
Attended by hundreds of their clients and business associates, the launch was graced by a number of dignitaries from Pirelli led by East Africa Area Manager Giovanni Tolasi.
 
City Tyres top brass led by Mandela Group Chairman Ahmed Omar Mandela and CEO Venkantesh Kumar and other staff were also present at the event where Italian Ambassador to Uganda Domenico Fornara was the chief guest.

The promotion that started on June 1 returns with revised entry rules that will require customers to buy two instead of four Pirelli Tyres of any segment from City Tyres, get a coupon that will be entered into a raffle draw in order to win the trip of a lifetime.
 
Other consolation monthly prizes will include dinner for two at Café Javas Lugogo, 50 litres of fuel at any of the City Oil outlets and free full car service.
 
"Like has been the trend, the winners will enjoy VIP treatment from the beginning to the end. From flying the Emirates; to tickets in the VIP lounge at the Yas Marina and staying at the Grand Hyatt Hotel over the four days and five nights trip, the winners will have a trip to remember," Mahad Twaha the in charge of corporate sales at City Tyres said.

"Customers who buy four tyres will now get two coupons in the draw and we urge all motorists and our customers to try out their luck at all our service stations spread all over Kampala," Twaha stated before announcing that the first draw will be held in the first week of July.
 
But three lucky winners among the invited guests; Marion Nasasira, Moses Kabuye and Robert Walugembe won themselves a full set of 4 and 2 Pirelli Tyres as well as wheel alignment and balancing and headlight adjustment respectively, from the random draw that was held for the guests.
