Court to decide whether Mumbere buries mother or not

Mumbere is charged with treason and terrorism following the Kasese fighting between the UPDF and his royal guards in 2016.
The court is convening in Kampala to give a ruling on whether Rwenzururu King Charles Wesley Mumbere attends the burial ceremony of his mother or not.
In 2017, Mumbere was granted a non-cash bail of sh100m by High Court judge Micheal Elubu.
However, the judge restricted Mumbere's movements to Wakiso, Jinja, and Kampala.
He was specifically barred never to set foot in Kasese, Bundibugyo and Kabarole unless with a court order.
