Museveni mourns Prof. Nsibambi

President Yoweri Museveni has described the passing of the former Prime Minister, Prof Apolo Nsibambi as a big loss to the country.

In a tweet on Tuesday evening, Museveni said: He was a true patriot and great academic. The country will miss him."

He announced that he had instructed the Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda, to lead a team that will make burial arrangements, saying it should ensure Prof. Nsibambi gets a befitting send-off.

Nsibambi passed on Tuesday evening at his home in Bulange, Mengo, Kampala. 

Other people also took to social media to show their sadness at the loss of a man they had known for long.
