Notice from Ministry of Health

Gavi through the Ministry of Health and it's Partners such as UNICEF has provided cash grants for the Integrated Child Health Days /Routine Immunisation for 128 districts in Uganda. MoH working with Health Development Partners (HDPs) will be responsible for providing oversight during the implementation of the grant. The respective Districts may receive these funds after the expiry of the designated period for implementation of Child Health days (April 2019). However, the Ministry has authorized the Districts to use these funds in the month of May 2019 to implement the planned activities to strengthen routine immunization. This will support the intensification of immunization outreaches with the ultimate result of reaching more children. Respective accounting officers are hereby informed that the funds should be accounted for within 90 days in accordance with the Public Financial Management Act 2015 and the governing implementation financial guidelines
