Desabre drops 9 players from AFCON team

They include Charles Lukwago, James Alitho, Allan Okello, Juma Balinya, Mujuzi Musitafa, Dan Serunkuma, Daniel Isiagi, Disan Galiwango and Halid Lwaliwa.
Cranes coach Sebastien Desabre has dropped nine players from the team that is due to travel to Abu Dhabi on May 21, to prepare for the Total AFCON finals in Egypt.
They include Charles Lukwago, James Alitho, Allan Okello, Juma Balinya, Mujuzi Musitafa, Dan Serunkuma, Daniel Isiagi, Disan Galiwango and Halid Lwaliwa.
However, six of the nine players dropped have been allowed to the COSAFA bound contingent. They are Lukwago, Alitho, Okello, Balinya, Musitafa, and Serunkuma.
They will resume training today under the watchful eye of Coach Abdallah Mubiru who is handling the Uganda Cranes squad to COSAFA as head coach Sebastien Desabre is with the national senior team preparing for the AFCON Finals.
