Unimoni hosts Muslims to Iftar in Kampala

Unimoni, a renowned global provider of money transfer, foreign currency exchange, and payments solutions, hosted a grand Iftar for more than 800 people at the Uganda National Mosque, Kampala.

The programme was held in collaboration with the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council and Xpress Money, one of the most dependable money transfer organisations in the world.

The Secretary General of the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council Hajji Ramadhan Mugalu wished everyone a blessed Ramadan and appreciated the efforts of the Unimoni team in bringing the community together during the holy month of Ramadan.

"It was a heart-warming experience to see the community members come together to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan with their families. We thank the Secretary General of the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council and Xpress Money for their support in this programme and helping us raise awareness on the importance of togetherness and tolerance," said Nazeem Khan, Country Head of Unimoni Uganda

"It was also a special evening for us as it gave us an opportunity to engage, build and strengthen our relations with the community," he added.
